About the Journal
The magazine contains original articles about:
- land administration,
- land management,
- real estate cadastre,
- land use,
- rural development,
- geodesy and cartography,
- remote display,
- geoinformatics,
- other related areas,
- as well as education in land management and geodesy.
The journal is the first in the Baltic States to address these issues. The journal disseminates the latest scientific discoveries, theoretical and experimental research, and is extremely useful for young scientists.
The scientific journal BALTIC SURVEYING contains peer-reviewed articles. International peer-review of articles is provided by the Editorial Committee. To ensure academic quality, each article is anonymously reviewed by two independent anonymous academic reviewers with a doctorate in science. The names of the reviewers are published in the list of reviewers. The articles have also passed the cross-reference check. Each author is responsible for the quality and correctness of the information in his or her article.
